Skip-A-Payment Form

It’s a great feeling to have a break from loans! As a special reward for our membership, Miami Federal Credit invites you to relax and take a payment break during this Holiday. Visa Credit Cards and Real Estate Loans are not eligible for the skip a payment program. That s why we offer Skip-A-Payment. There will be no negative impact on your credit rating.

You are welcome to skip-a-loan payment if:

You have not had a loan extension within the past 12 months due to financial difficulties. Your MFCU accounts are in good standing and your loans are current.

The skip-a-payment promotion offer will allow skipping a payment either for December 2025, January or February 2026. Please note that the skip-a-payment fee will increase the APR and DPR of the loan.**

**MFCU reserves the right to deny this offer for any reason. A small fee of just $50.00 will be added to your loans. Offer subject to cancellation. Acceptance of this offer will extend the term of your loan. Interest will continue to accrue during the period where no payment is made. If you carry disability or life insurance on the loan, these charges will continue to accrue. If you have GAP insurance, the coverage will not extend beyond the original maturity date of the loans as disclosed in the Installment Sales Contract/Loan GAP Waiver Addendum Election Form. Therefore, if you have a GAP claim, the coverage may be reduced by the deferred payment amount and you may owe a balance. GAP Insurance will only cover two skip a payments for the term of your collateral loan. All requests are subject to approval. Certain restrictions may apply.
